Locutor deportivo estadounidense. Fue el relator de radio y televisión de los partidos de béisbol de los Reds de Cincinnati (1934–39), los Dodgers de Brooklyn (1939–53) y los Yankees de Nueva York (1954–66). Combinaba el conocimiento técnico con comentarios coloquiales propios, y su exclamación característica era "Oh-ho, Doctor!. Emitió comentarios semanales en la Radio Pública Nacional desde 1981 y escribió dos libros sobre béisbol y su autobiografía.
